A little about me:
"I don't know what I want to be when I grow up"
I know I will always want to continue to support my fellow artists.
I am the former Chairperson to the Lansdowne Arts Board (Now Lansdowne Arts Committee). I was on the board from 2018-2022 During my time on the board, I have created a new Google account, updated the website (Weebly), social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram and Youtube) and created marketing material (Postcards, Posters, Banners) and CRM (Thru Mailchimp). This position is strictly volunteer and limited by terms from the Lansdowne Borough.
The Lansdowne Arts Board holds events in the 2020House. The building used to be the residence of my grandparents from 1975-2007.
I spent 9 years, of my 20 years working in the medical field, as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
I spent almost 10 years at a Medical Supply company where I wore many hats. I started printing and inspecting labels, to designing the labels through global (ISO, and other countries) and local (FDA and company) standards. The programs I used were Seagull Bartender, NiceLabel, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Project.
I also was a draftsperson creating and updating mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
During this time I also assisted the Document Control Department in sorting, filing, audits of documents both physical and digitally. I also used Flexisign 8 to create Vinyl Signage around the building.
The company sadly has moved operations out of state.
I spent 1 year in a local print shop, scanning, copying, editing and of course printing documents, images and oversized prints, before COVID-19 shut down events eliminating the need to print for them. Most of the staff was let go, while a few people were kept on to print part time.
During this gap period I am a homeschool pre-school teacher, tie dying dozens of shirts, screen printing shirts, worked on improving my website and networking skills (including joining Tupperware and learning a little more on networking).
In 2021 I started my 2 year contract at GSK creating labels as a Data Migration Specialist.
Since February 2023 I have been a Label designer with PCI in North East Philadelphia.
I love to create designs for Tshirts and screenprinting the images.
In 2022, with my term on the arts board ending I started volunteering in my current home town of Parkside with the Parkside Recreation Committee, as well as a member of the Parkside Elementary School PTL. It's not a secret all I want to do is showcase the talent in our little town and make it the artistic community it secretly already is.
Dad's Seats:
My father passed away in 1990. In 2015 my brothers and I decided for the 25th anniversary of his death we wanted to honor him. That first year we did a fundraiser for Cradles to Crayons. In 2016, there was too much personally going on for our family, but in 2017 we came up with Dad's Seats raising money to send grieving families to Philadelphia Phillies games. We would raise the money, buy the tickets with parking passes and concessions for 12-14 families learn more here.
